She has completely dedicated her life to fulfill the oath she took to eradicate crime from its roots. This is the story of the very beautiful IPS officer Sanjukta Parashar.
Sanjukta Parashar (IPS Sanjukta Parashar) was born on 3 October 1979 in Assam. From a very young age, she had become an example of courage and determination. After graduating in Political Science from Indraprastha College, Delhi and doing Masters in International Relations from JNU, she chose the path of police service by securing All India 85th rank in the Civil Services Examination (UPSC CSE).
This IPS officer of Meghalaya-Assam cadre not only supported her family while fulfilling her responsibilities but also stood firmly against the criminals. A wife, a mother and a dutiful officer, Sanjukta Parashar has proved herself in all roles.
Many militants were eliminated
Sanjukta launched a campaign against the Bodo militants of Assam and conducted operations with her team in the forests of Assam. Where even conducting an operation is usually challenging, Sanjukta led her team and wiped out the militants. Under her courageous leadership, 16 militants were killed and 64 were arrested.
“Iron Lady of Assam”
Sanjukta Parashar kept receiving death threats, but she never gave up. She had an AK-47 in her hand and the fire of patriotism in her heart. The people of Assam know her as the “Iron Lady of Assam”, and this name is a recognition of Sanjukta’s fearlessness and her indomitable courage.
The scoundrels break into a sweat
Even today, the name of Sanjukta Parashar makes the goons sweat. She has proved that despite being a woman, she is no less than anyone else, in fact she has also earned the title of “Lady Singham”. Sanjukta Parashar’s life teaches us that if the intentions are strong, then no challenge is big.
